The Future Is Now

IAMTVOLCO is a Non-Profit organization whose mission is to ensure the next generation has a fighting chance, by providing the youth and their families, in the underserved communities of New Haven, CT, with opportunities that are generally not provided to them. Opportunities to learn how to become entrepreneurs, instilling in them the importance of caring, protecting and investing in their communities and all the while providing them with a safe place to go through this process. This is an immense task, but it is not an impossible one. This same strategy has been employed by a myriad of different cultures after reaching this country, throughout its long and tumultuous history, upon seeing the many challenges that faced them. Poverty, Bias, Hate and Prejudice. These things systemically held those less fortunate peoples back until they banded together and fought for a future for themselves by putting education, community enhancement and creation of wealth at the core of their plan to pulling their respective cultures out of the "Ghetto". It's time we do the same, just like those other before us so long ago did. Its time, as a people, a culture and a city, and as of, Friday February 02, 2024, IATVOLCO is focusing all of our energy to seeing this comes to existence.
